Meet the new Brownsville Healthy Kids Campaign Rep for PHIT America

Mr. Jose Luis (JL) Martinez has joined PHIT America as the local PHIT America Brownsville Healthy Kids Representative. JL will work with the 31 Brownsville (ISD) Elementary School PE Coaches to help them implement and maximize the benefits of the 4 PHIT America PE programs provided - AMPED, PLAY TENNIS, PLAY GOLF and PLAY PICKLEBALL.

Mr. Jose Luis Martinez has over 30 years of educational experience with Brownsville Independent School District. He has taught in all grade levels from 2nd Grade Elementary teacher to Middle School teaching Math and Science and finally to Assistant Principal at all Grade Levels from Elementary to High School. He was an active member of AOBE as an Officer to also serving on the State Board with TSTA for most of his teaching career. Mr. Jose Luis Martinez has coached Little League T-Ball, Baseball, BOYSA soccer and coached various UIL sports in his career. He is excited to be an active partner in the PHIT America Brownsville Healthy Kids Campaign.
