BRINGING PICKLEBALL TO KIDS IN THE
HORACE MANN & THE BAYARD TAYLOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

We are thankful for pickleball. It has given us so much joy, laughter, and amazing new friendships. That's why we're teaming up with PHIT America to help bring their pickleball program to two elementary schools - one in Los Angeles (Horace Mann) and the other in New York (P.S. 158)!

 

90% of kids in the United States are inactive and unhealthy. U.S. kids are ranked 47th out of 50 countries in fitness by the British Journal of Sports Medicine. 60% of kids will be obese by the time they reach the age of 30. PHIT America is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to overcoming this crisis by helping to bring structured physical education programs to schools across America. 

 

The cost of bringing pickleball to two schools is $3,000 ($1,500 per school).  These funds will fully support each school with:

  • ​24 Paddles - 10oz., 4 ¼" grip, durable for kids

  • 30 Pickleballs - Indoor balls - Multi-colored 

  • 30 Foam balls

  • Full-size portable net 

  • 2 Billie Jean King Eye Coaches for Pickleball

  • EZ Scan Fitness Training

  • Curriculum from USA Pickleball Plus Membership

  • Discounts when ordering additional paddles and balls

  • USA Pickleball Ambassadors' Community Outreach

  • Support and Training by the PHIT America Team
